KEEP ROMANCE ALIVE - This project was inspired by a man who was wearing a skirt and walking on 5th Avenue at lunchtime. He was screaming “KEEP ROMANCE ALIVE! KEEP ROMANCE ALIVE!”  Now I ask people “What is your ROMANCE?” I met Roman, real estate, at Bohemian in New York at 1 am on May 1, 2010.  He was sitting down at the bar counter alone.  I sat next to him and asked him what his romance was.  He said, “my mother has lung cancer.  We still hope for a miracle because she has the world to live for and she hasn’t given up.  I asked her a simple question.  I said, “do you have any advice?”  She looked at me and said, “always be true to yourself.”  That is my romance.” Roman’s mother passed away a few hours later - at 10 AM on May 1, 2010.
